SpeedEngine racing engine case from Polini for your Piaggio Ciao, Si, Bravo, and Boxer moped.
This version of the engine case is designed for contact ignition systems and cannot be used with electronic ignition systems.
The engine case features clean workmanship and is perfectly suited for cylinder kits with piston diameters up to 46 mm.
Ideally, you should use a Polini cylinder. However, the overflow channels of the Malossi cylinder kits (from 2021 onward) or those from the DR 43 mm racing kit also fit quite well.
The intake manifold is designed for Dell’Orto SHA Type 3 carburetors with a throat size of up to 13 mm.
The intake valve timing is already very long as-built. Therefore, the engine block can also be run with the original crankshaft.
If you want to get even more power out of it, we recommend using a racing crankshaft.
With the optionally available swiing intake manifold, it’s also possible to use carburetors larger than a 13/13.
