Intake manifolds and air filters for Sachs mopeds, scooters, and small motorcycles with 50/2 (502), 50/3, or 50/4 engines.
The very short intake path, combined with the 15 mm Bing carburetor, results in a significant increase in performance. If the air intake volume is still too high, you can use part 17273 as an insert.
Installation Note! – Since space is very tight between the cylinder, engine block, and frame, the following must be observed during installation:
- The stud bolts on the cylinder must be removed. The M5x12 screws to be used are included.
- The “swiing®” lettering on the intake manifold must face upward, as the manifold’s flange is slightly angled.
- The milled surface of the air filter housing must face downward.
- The intake manifold, carburetor, and air filter must be pre-assembled. Only then can the entire assembly be installed.

Note: If you choose the 50 mm “Double Layer” filter element, you must also order housing 28548.
