As a special gadget, this adapter serves as a mount for the GPO cell phone holders on the stem. You can install the ball head of the various smartphone mounts here and secure it with the nut. This makes mounting on the handlebar easy and gives you a clean look.
Mounting on the stem is much more elegant than normal handlebar mounting.
In addition, this adapter can also be used for other devices, such as a GoPro with a corresponding ball head mount.
