7 mm high clamping ring for mounting the lower bearing ring of the steering head bearing on various forks.
This spring band or tolerance ring is clamped between the head tube and the lower bearing ring so that the bearing ring has a firm hold.
On most forks, only part of the snap ring is required. This can simply be cut off with a side cutter.
