The silent rubber sits between the frame and the rear suspension of your scooter and ensures a clean mounting of the shock absorber. Over time, the rubber element becomes porous, which is often noticeable in the form of a spongy ride feeling. It is advisable to replace this buffer at the latest when changing to a new shock absorber. This will ensure that the rear shock absorber is correctly mounted again and unwanted play is avoided.
