The focus of the rebuild is the complete disassembly of the crankset hub and the consistent replacement of worn or damaged internal parts with new, precisely fitting new parts. All cadence, brake and drive components are professionally fitted, adjusted and matched to each other so that the cadence brake responds cleanly and decelerates reliably. With older hubs in particular, these components are often heavily worn or defective, which can significantly impair the braking effect.
After rebuilding, the cassette hub impresses with smooth running, clean power transmission and a reliably functioning braking effect. The safety-relevant Rüctrittbremse works precisely and predictably - exactly as required for safe operation.
