Disinfected NGK BR7EIX Iridium spark plug with long thread suitable for various mopeds, mopeds or small motorcycles.
This spark plug fits the following mopeds: Alpa Cross 2000, Alpa Grand Sport, Alpa Cristall 50/2, Alpa Panda, Cilo Cross, KTM GTX 503, Pony GT Cross, Pony GTA, Pony GTX, Pony Junior 50/2, Pony Junior 503, Puch Maxi S, Puch Maxi N, Puch Maxi N Chopper, Puch Maxi Plus, Puch X30 Sport NS / NL, Puch X30 Velux, Puch Supermaxi, Sachs Rixe 50/2, Sachs Turbo, Sachs 503 etc. Among other things, long-threaded plugs are installed on Piaggio mopeds with 43 or 46 mm cylinder heads from Malossi (from 2021).
Iridium spark plugs have an iridium alloy tip on the center electrode. The precious metal iridium only melts at 2450 °C and is therefore highly resistant to spark erosion. The service life of these candles is twice as long as that of conventional spark plugs. The 0.6 mm thick center electrode significantly reduces the ignition voltage requirement and contributes to an improved spread of the flame front in the combustion chamber.
Note: For an official MFK approval, it is necessary for the ignition system to have a de-ignition component. This spark plug is deflashed and can therefore be combined with a non-deflashed spark plug connector on public roads.
