Complete torque converter unit, equipped with NewFren starter belts, suitable for your Piaggio Ciao, Si, Bravo and Boxer moped / moped with variomatic transmission.
High-quality shaft seals, correctly installed shim washers, lubricated needle bearings, a concentricity test and a correctly milled keyway in the torque converter bell characterize this torque converter clutch.
Notes: For installation on a Piaggio Ciao, the pulleys must be turned down to approx. 96 mm or the frame must be ground out a little.
The required belt length in combination with a racing vario is 975 mm for the Ciao (center engine position). For Piaggio Si models it is 1143 mm to 1150 mm.
The installed counter-pressure spring corresponds to the original in terms of spring force. For a higher starting speed, you can replace this with a higher version as required. When fitting, make sure that the spring tab does not protrude too far into the pulley and could damage the belt.
