External ignition unit for Piaggio Ciao mopeds / mopeds of the first years (approx. 1967 - 1971, C9 with rigid fork and C7 with suspension fork), on which the ignition coil was mounted under the carburetor on the frame.
Mounted using two M5 screws (not included).
In addition to the P and SC models sold in Switzerland, the coil fits the following models sold in neighboring countries:
- Piaggio Ciao A
- Piaggio Ciao SP
- Piaggio Ciao R
- Piaggio Ciao L
Note: This ignition coil does not fit Ciao's which have an indentation for the coil on the left side of the frame, or where the coil was clamped to the engine bolts on the right side.
